IMO the "torch" went like this in wrestling in the WWE anyway:

Andre The Giant ---> Hulk Hogan ----> Bret Hart ----> Shawn Michaels ----> Stone Cold Steve Austin -----> The Rock ----> Brock Lesnar ----> HHH stole it
