The time it really took me out of the match was either Gotoh or Ishii, he was attempting a springboard attack into the ring. He looks back at the table to make sure 's in the right place then does the springboard, gets blasted and falls through the table.
It cut his back, but didn't really factor into the finish, as Omega went over. I was like "that was fake as shit."
I actually give Omega a pass on the blowup dolls and wrestling little girls thing in DDT, because he has progressed beyond that. But I would be wary of giving a main event push unless he changed his name.
Ibushi is worse than Omega, IMO. While Omega stopped doing stupid shit, for the most part, Ibushi is STILL DOING STUPID SHIT.
And I argue that Cornette is the most powerful man in the business. It seems every rant he goes on is newsworthy. I don't always agree with him, but if I ran a promotion, I would have him be a short term consultant, at least to learn the ropes of running a company. Raven would be my lead booker.
