Saying the ratings were better for TNA is being generous. There was some mild increase, but it's not like they created 500,000 or anything. Basically anyone who watched TNA was joined by a few people who didn't usually watch, but was going to check out the geek show.

What long-term benefit or growth did it offer TNA? None. Absolutely none. It left them in no better and no worse shape than before it had happened -- which was not great.

And yes, the kangaroo stuff would have surely upset some people if they had actually seen it.
