Raw finished third for the night on cable. The Washington Redskins vs. Philadelphia Eagles game did 11.28 million viewers, and the other show that beat Raw was the SportsCenter episode after the game ...
The three hours were:
8 p.m. 3.33 million viewers
9 p.m. 2.97 million viewers
10 p.m. 2.56 million viewers

Turns out the drop was the largest since RAW went to 3 hours after some more data crunching by the Observer.

Meltzer noted that the WWE is planning on adding a special guest referee to the match, though the company hasn't yet settled on who that would be. John Cena's name was mentioned as a possibility, and Bryan Alvarez pointed out that it would make sense to insert Cena into the match in order to set up a storyline with Mahal for the future.
There are other names being floated around, so Cena is not a lock to referee the match. Without naming names, Meltzer said the other possible referees might not want to do the match, so Cena might end up getting the spot by default. The WWE's main goal in adding a special guest referee is to put someone in the ring who would be intriguing with Lesnar.
Alvarez raised the possibility of the referee being Goldberg or The Undertaker, considering they are two superstars who would definitely add some intrigue. Meltzer refuted that idea because both those rivalries have run their course and he doesn't see the WWE going back to them any time soon.

The statement also confirms that the company's rebrand into Global Force Wrestling is officially over, which was apparent when Impact started to shift their branding to remove references to GFW in September. Impact had announced an agreement to acquire GFW this summer, but the deal was never completed.

What happened was Jarrett was to work shows in Calgary and Edmonton this weekend for Real Canadian Wrestling (we had mistakenly called it River City Wrestling yesterday as our first report just came in as RCW). He showed up in Calgary, in no condition to perform although he did do a match and it was said to be similar to his performance at TripleMania. The promoter said he didn't know Jarrett was in such bad shape until the match started but others there said that couldn't be the case because it was clear backstage. He told the promotion that he was held at customs and was told he had to return the next morning and would have to miss Edmonton. The promotion later found out that Jarrett rebooked his flight from Sunday morning to Saturday morning and left before the Saturday night show in Edmonton. The promotion said that Jarrett boarded a plane and left the country on his own accord Sunday morning and later said Jarrett "chose to leave the country due to his own issues."
