Really liked the idea of him wearing pink and black when he was teaming up with Natalya. And he could wear that during October for the breast cancer awareness stuff. It's a bit silly, but swapping out the palette is just interesting me.
Probably just a simple color preference for gear since he usually wore black or red leather pants in NJPW as the "King of Strong Style" character.

Also likely because a lot of notable rockstars in the 70s and 80s wore leather pants.
