In many ways, I think this a symptom of having so many hours to fill too. You've got three hours on Raw, and you need to have stuff happening all the time. If they dialed back, they could use fewer heads, focus on more specific personalities, and limit the angles more. Maybe not by what you'd need to. Dunno. I guess there is other wrestling out there, but I'm surprised we haven't seen a more "mainstream" wrestling program that follows a simple, tidier format in response to the WWE. I guess that's technically what ROH is, isn't it? I don't even know what I mean, haha.
This is what TNA was originally supposed to be when they were floated by Spike, but they fucked that up, I guess.
