There is no way this is bad news. Good for Bryan. It must have been a surreal moment for him when he got the news, and I can just imagine how much joy someone would have had in getting to tell him.

The evil cynic in me is a bit annoyed we don't get that "moment" where he reveals that he's able to compete. Or he just does something physical and we're like "WHAAAAAA?!", but I wasn't watching anyway, so whatever. The emotional implications over this out-weigh storytelling conventions, I think.

So, so happy for him. I imagine it will be Owens & Zayn vs. Shane & Bryan. But maybe if Taker wants to sit out Mania, Bryan can accept the challenge of Cena instead. That would be a tremendous match. Whatever. My interest for Mania actually exists beyond the title matches now.
