It's Sunday, so yeah....
Raw:
• I totally didn't notice the date of the episode of Raw I was watching so when Raw started with the remembrance video for The British Bulldog, I was surprised by it but it also transported me way back to that date as I remember that video package so so vividly.

• This week on Raw, we saw Tommy Dreamer go to get his hair cut and then eat his hair, other people's hair and various hair based products.
• Raven randomly showed up to do some commentating and he just kept ripping into Lawler about his wife (The Kat) leaving him. It was great and I actually laughed as I was just caught so off-guard by it.
Lawler: What's up Raven!
Raven: Yeah, King listen, don't even greet me because you know I'm sick of coming out here every week, you and your lecherous ways, you never talk about wrestling, you never talk about what's going on in the ring, do you even know anything about wrestling any longer?
Obviously you don't know anything about women either because your wife wouldn't have left you then.
He then mentioned Lawler's wife leaving him again and he just wouldn't let it go.
• During the night, we kept seeing Austin in a bar that Eddie Guerrero was also in but I think some of it may have been edited out as there were times where references were made to moments that we never even saw.
The references were all about the songs that Guerrero and Austin were singing, so I can only guess that the part with them singing was cut out due to lyrical copyright or something like that.
I'm sure I do remember watching Austin sing at a bar though.
SmackDown:
• Triple H vs Lance Storm was a match I wasn't expecting to see. Especially kicking off SmackDown.
Watching the match, I couldn't help but think of how a match like that would have played out if it happened today.
During the match, Cole & Tazz were doing a good job of hyping Lance Storm up and making him sound good. Cole even said that if anyone could beat Triple H, it's Lance Storm. Storm got a lot of offence during the match and was actually in control for most of it. He even managed to draw blood from Triple H (even though it was an existing wound from Triple H's Hell in a Cell match) and he also managed to hit Triple H with two signature moves and his finisher. He Superkicked Triple H, applied a Single Leg Boston Crab on him and then Superkicked him again, all in succession.
These days, if someone of Triple H's standing on the roster at that time was up against someone of Lance Storm's standing, the announce team (especially Cole) would ridicule and just rip the piss out of the wrestler in Storm's position or they would just talk about something or someone that is completely irrelevant to what is going on in the ring, and as for the match, it would just be a squash match in under a minute with the wrestler in Storm's position getting absolutely no offence and just eating punches, kicks and one or two finishing moves from the wrestler in Triple H's position.
I actually enjoyed the match though, even though it was only six minutes long.
• "TriHple"

• They got there eventually.

It just doesn't make sense to have a sign (especially one that requires multiple people) that references the same wrestler on both sides.
(The other side says "BALDY!!!" for anyone trying to decipher it)
• This was the debut of Reverend D-Von's new theme with the gospel singer.
This was also the first time that Batista was referred to as an animal (but it was a passing reference).
• Chavo Guerrero doing a really bad exaggerated Mexican accent just sounds weird.
• Hogan came out to give his retirement speech and his music was dubbed but after he had finished, his actual Jimi Hendrix theme played but strangely enough, after he fought off The Undertaker, his dubbed theme played again to close the show.
I can only assume that the guys in charge of dubbing themes for the WWE Network either forgot to dub Hogan's theme after his speech or just dubbed his theme during his entrance and skipped the video to the end of the show and dubbed his theme again, just assuming that his theme wouldn't play again during those two points.
• I'll end this post the way I always seem to end these posts, with a sign:
