Morrison was the right choice. Aries is a good wrestler, but he's got a lot of 205 Live and "never really proved his potential" stank on him. He's basically been the same dude since 2004. I can understand why you'd go with him when you've got slim pickings, but it was time for him to drop the belt and move onto other things.

I doubt they get Jericho. He's a smart businessman. I know he's working with Impact guys for his cruise, but to reciprocate the relationship is risky to his standing with Vince McMahon and New Japan. And what promotion is he going to get out of it? Anyone who follows TNA already knows the TNA guys are going to be there, and they're more than likely going to be presented like indy talent.
