To me he was coming out with every single stereotype about Romania. The basic lack of respect for teams who aren't Real Madrid or AC Milan.
The assumption that playing Man Utd is the most important game. As most of my mates told me - the most important game is against Steaua.
It's the with how they all patronise African or Asian teams. No one ever turned around and said that Senegal were a good team for beating France, or South Korea for beating Italy - it was always because France were poor and Italy were too defensive. All that bullshit about naive defending.
The bit that made me laugh was when United scored and the commentator claimed it had gone silent whilst anyone listening could hear that it had got louder.
Uk commentators should learn just because a UK team is playing doesn't mean that everyone is supporting them.
