For example: I hate that they always psyche up and do the forearm exchanges. I was just watching random New Japan matches and it happened in every single one of them. It would appeal to me more if it were just a few people whose gimmick it was to really love getting hit in the head -- whether it's to psyche their opponent out, or just prove how tough they are, whatever. Like, Ishii doing it, or Goto with the right opponent. But I don't need to see Tanahashi doing it with Ibushi, you know?
I like Ishii's think with Macabe and sometimes Goto, where they'd just clothesline each other. It reminds me of two rams headbutting each other. But Suzuki's version of that is so great. He takes the shot, sells, then pops straight up, even laughing at times. And his laugh is so disturbing. And it doesn't hurt (heh) that his forearms tend to have an extra snap on them that make them look that much more devastating.
