Automatic rematch clauses are lazy, but they also mean that a babyface that has to drop a belt looks foolish at least twice. It's fine if you're going to smash a babyface over a heel every now and then (Batista over Triple H in 2005, for example), but losing to Cena three times hurt Rusev far more than simply losing to him once.
