I'm not having a go at Cornette either. I quite enjoy his shoots with other people, or on specific topics - he's far less negative when discussing wrestling's past, so things like a Timeline or Guest Booker shoot. I thought his proposed WM18 card in the Invasion Guest Booker looked like shit, but I appreciated the effort and enthusiasm, And stuff like him interviewing Bill Watts or Percy Pringle is a better sense of the man minus the vitriol.

However, I'm put off by his inability to admit when he's wrong. The level of hatred he has toward so much of modern wrestling...to the point where he says he doesn't care if Kenny Omega has the greatest wrestling match ever, because the fact he's had comedy matches in the past invalidates it...it's soured me on him even when he's talking about the past. If he can get a lot of his takes on modern wrestling wrong, who's to say he's right about the past either, and not equally clouded by prejudice?
