Good little documentary/match combo... I don't believe a man with that athleticism and size spent 3-4 years wrestling dark matches because he wasn't good enough. I don't think they wanted him in as a mid card wrestler, only as a main event hero so maybe he was held back by Hogan and kept in reserve by Vince for a time that never came.

I'd have liked a straight comment from Vince but I bet it was less about lack of talent and more about Hogan't creative control, drawing power and the lack of necessity in replacing him with anyone at that time.

Hogan was still drawing fair crowds up til 1991 or so wasn't he?
