Yeah, having one is what saved Destination America from the headache of having to deal with Impact and Dixie Carter for the long term.

If WWE wanted security for their show, going to FOX or any other major basic cable network was the worst option possible. FOX, NBC, ABC, and CBS are all notorious when it comes to canning or moving shows at a moments notice if they don't reach certain expectations.

The shows WWE is replacing on Fridays were averaging in the 3-4 million range and FOX still felt that was worth sacrificing to get SmackDown, which at best does in the mid 2 million range since going live.
