Yeah, it was the 100th Nitro when he won it. He probably should have got longer than a sneeze, even though Sting was the plan. Hogan had the finished changed at Road Wild (or was it Hog then?) and got the belt back which seemed to kill a lot of whatever appeal was there.
Lex is one of those guys that I hear more and more good about. People going back and watching Nitro seem to love a lot of his work. Maybe modern wrestling has emboldened it somehow? But man, he was over with crowds too. I'd actually go as far as to say he's quite a high profile underrated guy.
