Apparently WWE's big plans for the Women's Tag belts after Mania were for the IIconics to feud with the Bellas over the belts.
Would explain why the Bellas teased several times they'd only return if it was for a tag title feud (and likely a tag title reign) and why Bayley & Sasha's reign was abruptly cut short.
Might also explain why the IIconics title reign has been terrible since WWE never bothered coming up with a real Plan B for them once the Bellas stuff wasn't possible.
