Why would that be more your money's worth?

Because the X-Box is cheaper? Except all the peripherals, the fact that you can't upgrade it without violating warranty, its selection is a lot more limited than the PC...The higher turnover of PC games (meaning cheaper second hand games faster, generally), etc.

If you're serious about online gaming, then you probably want a PC. If you're not serious about gaming, you probably are best suited with a PS2.
