Well i have been running SP2 final for about a week or so and havent come across any problems yet. I havent tried bit torrent though.
But yeah as stated above, wait a few weeks untill something like SP2a is released like they did with SP1.
Microsoft have delayed the
automatic delivery of WinXP SP2 via Windows Update. They have a list of
software that is affected by installing SP2. IBM meanwhile have instructed their people to
not install it just yet.
but to answer the original question, the downloadable IT professional/developer version is for home edition as well as XP Pro. its handy to have if you are updating multipule machines.
Of like I have done, use it to slipstream it into your copy of XP, so next the re-install I do will have SP2 already in there, handy.
