That was up 20 percent from last week and tied the November 6 episode for NXT's second-best number since the start of the wars.

AEW Dynamite trailed with 893,000 viewers but had a 0.39 rating in the 18-49 demo. That was good for eighth on the night in cable. NXT finished 13th. AEW was down nine percent in the demo and seven percent overall in terms of viewers from last week's post-Full Gear episode.

As per usual, Dynamite beat NXT in every demo except for persons over 50, where NXT had a bigger than usual advantage of 0.40 to 0.29. It's logical to assume it did better in that demo due to the influx of Raw and SmackDown performers who would be more familiar to that older audience

On the AEW side, they were hit among people 18-34, which dropped 26.5% and males 12-34 fell 25%. The 50+ audience remained unchanged from last week, so this wasn’t a case of older AEW fans turning over to NXT this week.

The larger question is how NXT reacts to this number and if it’s a signal of future involvement of Raw and SmackDown talent to inflate their viewership. It becomes a different show at that point if the Raw and SmackDown talent becoming the stars of the show, which they need to be if they are going to be difference makers.

For AEW, it was a strong show on paper but didn’t have the feel of a lineup that was designed to spike the number while NXT was a hotshot style of show and not a formula that can work every week

Klein has been out of action since ROH's United Kingdom tour. She has been the primary focus of the company's Women of Honor division for some time and was the promotion's only two-time WOH Champion. She had most recently been feuding with The Allure.

We are told Klein's current deal expires 12/31 but the two sides had been in discussions for a new deal.

There was no comment on the status of the Women of Honor Championship.

“People say, ‘Man I can’t believe his voice sounds like that’. You’re used to hearing him as The Undertaker. That’s one of the biggest things people used to ask is if he was alive or dead. That’s how shielded this guy was. People at the airport would ask if he was alive or dead. Well he’s alive, and he has a regular voice, and he’s a very charismatic and engaging guy, and very down to earth. You’ll enjoy the conversation, and [it will] catch a lot of people off guard because of how laid back he is.”

From Bloodsport to Joey Janela's Spring Break, the GCW shows have become some of the most in-demand events outside of national wrestling. FITE COO Mike Weber seems like he couldn't be happier with the marriage ...

Back to the topic of the success story that is GCW, Weber noted that the promotion sees buys for shows that happened, weeks, months, even a year ago.

"I don’t want to sit here and make this the GCW show, but they are definitely ones that started off sorta small and didn’t have a long track record before hand. And who have, I almost think they’re pinching themselves considering where they’re at. You know, the funny thing about them, they do so many shows—I just looked at our sales this morning and what’s interesting about them is, so we’ve been airing their shows for a year now. And they’ve probably had buys, maybe not a lot of buys, for individual shows over 25-30 shows this week. You gotta remember these are people buying a show that took place four months, six months, eight months ago," said Weber.
