I know the general consensus here for the most part is for NJPW to just end the partnership with ROH.
But, with things up in the air at CMLL, AEW not really gonna approach them anytime soon if not at all, their hands are pretty much tied unless they look at someone else like MLW, NWA or one of the other growing indie outfits.

Meltzer mentioned a few weeks ago about NJPW officials being in a somewhat holding pattern with their CMLL partnership due to the on-going rift and rumors of a split happening there. ROH already weakened their partnership with CMLL due to the RUSH situation and CMLL bringing in less ROH talent for their shows this year.

I think that in the new year when NJPW of America goes on tour we will find that they have ended the relationship with ROH. I don't forsee them going into another partnership with an indy company. Why would they? They don't need to "co-promote" to see 800-2000 tickets for a tour show. They've proved that this year.
