How would you feel if you returned from a war, only to have your hometown fans boo you away, even though they wanted you to do what you did?

I dont get your point about Eugene. Are you saying because he plays a retard its wrong to boo him? I mean I know you dont actually think he is a retard, so its not like we are insulting a retard for being a retard. Like LC said, we were turning on the WWE for force feeding us a gimmick that is right out of a tape from 1986 and doesn't belong in 2004. Nobody is against Nick Dinsmore as a person or even as a worker, we just dont like being asked to check our brains at the door by believing that Nick Dinsmore is a retard.
And are you saying Eugene is equivalent to a war hero? I think if a guy does somehting noble like serve in a war they deserve respect, but if a guy jumps in a wrestling ring and mocks retarded people and roll around in small tights with a bunch of guys, they dont really deserve any respect.
With JBL-Taker, I dont think the response was against Taker it was against the WWE for turning the WWE Championship and its rich history into a living joke with JBL. As Ive said before, I like JBL as acharcter, I dont necessarily think he's done that bad with the title, but at the same time I can understand why people would be totally against the idea of him as champ.
I mean lets say it was announced another chapter in the Godfather saga was coming out. And tickets went on sale before you knew anything about the movie. Then you get to the theatre and instead of having great actors like Robert Duvall, Al Pacino, De Niro and Marlon Brando you get Duvall with Andy Dick, Howie Mandell and Carrot Top. Do you have to sit there and 'respect it just because its the Godtaher franchise'? And even if its an average movie, wouldn't you still be upset because it makes a mokery of the Godfather franchise which was beloved and respected by many many people?
I can see this as a simialr deal. People respect the WWE Title, but when you put people who are so undersving of the spot some people, no check that a lot of people might turn on it. Its the WWE that disrespected the title by putting it on someone who never was anywhere close to the main events and before anyone was ready to accept him as a main eventer.
