Open challenges feel like a holdover from the Monday Night Wars era and before, when it was conceivable that new talent(s) might have jumped ship unbeknownst to the audience. Using last night as an example, who could have possibly been the biggest surprise WWE could have given the fans, in terms of tag teams? The only options I can think of are 'Hardy Boyz reunion #36' and 'Enzo and Big Cass', which pretty much no one wants to see.

I thought there was a chance that AOP could have answered. Not that this would be shocking or anything. Got no clue why they made this an open challenge, other than them knowing they weren’t going to have a finish, but I don’t know why they chose that outcome. What’s wrong with putting The Raiders over? Trying to work out why this company does certain things is futile though.
