I realise that "Eugene" is an act, but I still think it's a little off to boo him because he's acting like he's supposed to. These people could have lost poor Nick his job if they kept on booing him. The current slump was blamed on Dinsmore at one stage, and that ticked me off. I'm not saying that eugene deserves respect because he's a great wrestler, but I think he deserves respect just because he can do a good job with what he has. Would it be so hard to respect that and maybe just sit silent during the match instead of booing you ass off, and insulting this guy? Quite frankly, I haven't bee fooled so to speak by the gimmick, but I can ease up on it and take it as a reasonable act. It is a little insulting at first, but it ends up being less of a mockery when people get behind the character.
I agree JBL may have been viewed as undeserving, bt he's worked his ass off for the people, and he's come off as a credible and decent worker. He's gotten more heat leading into his feuds than almost anyone else on the roster (maybe minus Eugene doing his job, no matter how degrading it is). If the people really wanted to voice their opinions, why not start a chant like "JBL Sucks" or even just cheering the heel. I think there were better ways for Toronto to handle that.

But Eugene has never done anything good for Toronto. The fans dont like the GIMMICK so they booed. I mean I wans't there, but I would have done the exact same thing, and I spend a great deal of time convincing people HHH is the devil. But I still would have been standing yelling "TRI-PLE H" "TRI-PLE H". Why? Because I hate the Eugene character. Its no disrespect to Nick Dinsmore, its just that I feel the WWE should know this kind of gimmick has no business in a WWE ring in 2004.
I agree that JBL has worked hard, once again Ive defended him a great deal on here. But at the same time I can understand why people would shit on him as champion. And if they chanted "JBL Sucks" the Toronto fans (which like I said is heavy on the smarks) they know JBL would go to the back and go "look at all that heat I got". Really the best reaction they could give was what they did. There's no denying the fans rejected the match, there's no way to spin that to say JBL drew a lot of heat or the acoustics were bad in the arena. You cant deny fans were bored where they start a wave.
