The Godfather, D-Lo Brown, & the Headbangers defeated the Acolytes & the Dudley Boyz in an elimination match at 9:36; Bradshaw pinned Headbanger Thrasher with the Clothesline from Hell at 3:40; Bubba Ray pinned Headbanger Mosh following the 3D at 4:57; Bradshaw was disqualified at 5:52 after hitting Headbanger Mosh with a steel chair before doing the same to Bubba Ray; Farooq and D-Von Dudley were both counted-out at 6:45 as they brawled backstage; D-Lo Brown pinned Bubba Ray with the Lo-Down
Kurt Angle pinned Shawn Stasiak with the Angle Slam at 5:56 (Angle’s TV debut)

Test (sub. for Scotty 2 Hotty) won a 22-man battle royal by last eliminating Billy Gunn with the boot to the face as Gunn came off the ropes attempting the Fameasser; other participants included: Albert, Bradshaw, Farooq, Perry Saturn, Billy Gunn, Chuck Palumbo, Sho Funaki, Crash Holly, Spike Dudley, Test, Shawn Stasiak, Diamond Dallas Page, Raven, Steven Richards, the Hurricane, Lance Storm, Tommy Dreamer, Justin Credible, Billy Kidman, Hugh Morrus, Chavo Guerrero Jr., & Tazz; Test was not scheduled to compete in the match but took over Scotty 2 Hotty's spot after attacking Scotty backstage; due to prematch stipulations, Test was granted a year of immunity in which he could not be fired or suspended regardless of what team emerged victorious in the main event
Trish Stratus defeated Lita, Jackie, Ivory, Molly Holly, and Jazz (mystery participant) to win the vacant WWF Women’s Title by pinning Ivory with the bulldog (Jazz' surprise debut)
Team WWF - WCW World Champion the Rock, Chris Jericho, the Big Show, Kane, & the Undertaker defeated Team Alliance - WWF World Champion Steve Austin, Shane McMahon, Kurt Angle, Booker T, & WWF Hardcore Champion Rob Van Dam; Shane pinned the Big Show with an elbow drop off the top after Show suffered the Angle Slam, the scissors kick, and the five star frogsplash; Jericho pinned Shane with the Lionsault after Shane suffered a chokeslam from Kane and the tombstone from the Undertaker; RVD pinned Kane with a kick off the top rope; Angle pinned the Undertaker after Austin hit the Stunner on the Undertaker; Rock pinned Booker T with a roll up after sending Booker into RVD on the apron; Jericho pinned RVD with the Break Down; Rock defeated Angle via submission with the Sharpshooter; Austin pinned Jericho with a roll over - after the fall, Jericho hit the Break Down on the Rock and remained ringside until the Undertaker returned to berate him for his actions and sent him backstage; Rock pinned Austin with the Rock Bottom after Angle returned ringside and hit Austin with the WWF world title belt; due to prematch stipulations, the Alliance was forced to disband and all championships that were decided earlier in the night were reverted to WWF titles; all Alliance members aside from title-holders and Test were forced out of the company, only to return in the coming weeks
