With Roman Reigns, if he won the Rumble then people would think back to that 2015 Rumble. People were dreading him winning like it was back to business as usual. He might end up against Bray Wyatt at Mania, but they can get there with a story that isn't "Roman Reigns wins."

Are they being too tepid about that sort of thing? Maybe. But Reigns doesn't need to get there that way either. It's not going to be the show-closer, so I'd rather he didn't win it.
