According to ESPN, current MLW Heavyweight champion Jacob Fatu is staying in MLW for the foreseeable future.
He recently signed a new deal with the company locking him up until 2025. Also his new deal has similar terms as other recent deals offered by MLW where talent are allowed to take outside bookings except if it involves WWE and AEW.
MLW managing to sign several new tv and distribution deals during this on-going coronavirus pandemic has been a huge blessing for them.

This new deal has extended Fatu for four more years and he’ll be with MLW until late 2025.
PWInsider added that the original MLW deals only prevented talents from working with WWE. With the emergence of All Elite Wrestling, contracts have been restructured to become more exclusive. Fatu joins Alexander Hammerstone, Myron Reed, Salina de la Renta and Richard Holliday who’ve also had their deals restructured.
