Haven't been watching much (aka at all), but turning a hot babyface heel can really be a momentum killer. The only bait and switch I recall working (and there's likely a scant few other examples) is the Rock when he joined the Corporation.

As usual, Fignuts is right -- which, for whatever reason, is another win for Dump Matsumoto.
