Have Lita lose the baby and then he goes absolutely ape shit and goes on a rampage to make everyone who stands in his way feel the same way he does.
Sort of like how he should've been pushed when he lost the mask. The whole wedding thing is sort of a new start for him imo. When he lost the mask that was something super important to him and he should've gone crazy without it.
Now they've developed that the baby and Lita are super important to him, thus they can sort of start over his character.
