Let’s take those 2 examples; Roode & Ziggler (AKA The Dirty Dawgs) could be better than every team in the world, future, past, or preset but they are met with an absolute “meh”. That’s not because of some bias against WWE, it’s because Ziggler has been middling about in WWE for 15 years doing the same act.
Street Profits are great (well, Montez Ford is great, Dawkins is there too) but potential means nothing in WWE, as they have proved over and over and over again. You can’t invest in them because you will get burned. And you will get burned.
The bias that exists towards AEW is that as a new entity they have the capacity to deliver on promise (obviously you depart on the grounds of what it is that you want delivered) whereas WWE have spent the last 20 years promising to not deliver.
I watch both with a general malaise to be honest but I think the above is pretty evident.
