Yeah, they were punishing with the timing of those jumps. It's funny because my son has jumped in on the SNES gaming and said "Man, how did you play games so hard without raging!?"


Told him all games were "harder" back then. There was no "DLC", no "patching" on consoles. The game you bought was all you had, and that was that. Making them harder was an artificial way to make the game "longer".
