It's all just an assumption. They say it because it's true, and because there's an audience for it. I personally doubt that audience is Tony khan, because he's the biggest mark in the industry. It's not necessary to gain favor through these type of comments because they already do it by simply existing.

That's something we as fans have harped on wwe about, but I can't recall an actual talent talking about that specific issue. Considering that her job as an interviewer and analyst is directly tied to the presentation of the product, it's not surprising she'd speak out about the difference in how both companies handle this sort of thing.
