Yes, they matter, but they dont matter enough that they hurt his credibility. No matter who beats him, when he walks out he still former UFC Heavyweight Champion. Unlike almost any other wrestler who your point i'd agree with 100%, his fake fighting character can lose but he still has that UFC credibility. It happened, and that is part of his WWE Character whether he wins or loses.
