Fair point.
To be fair, you do try to disingenuously trap people in conversations centered around semantics a lot. You’re more about trying to get a gotcha than demonstrate an actual point.

There’s only so long that putting a name on a marquee can stay special simply because it’s a name people recognize.
This is a good point though. And it’s a problem that all wrestling companies face right now. This is what AEW is doing with Punk and likely going to be doing with Bryan too. And that’s why the ratings fall after every spike. Both promotions are very similar like that.

I think Brock is better off as a babyface than a heel right now. If you’re going to put him at the top of your cards and have him kick ass, why not try and align that to be something people want to see? The WWE made this awful mistake of actually trying to make the story be that you don’t want to see Brock Lesnar. They would seriously do this “Brock doesn’t love wrestling, he’s gone most of the time” thing to try and get heat. And how does that look when he comes back and kick the alleged babyface’s ass?

He’s still the best worker out there. Whenever I catch what he’s doing, it’s usually heads and shoulders above anything else in wrestling.
