I think people just preferred Arn as a person too.
The version I’ve heard the most is Sid turns up at Arn’s door with a chair arm or leg and when he gets there he throws it away but Arn comes out and stabs him with some scissors.
Sid gets hold of the scissors and just pokes Arn full of holes until he nearly kills him.
