i don't think they'll run it back -- seems like a fairly important narrative driver for s3; evidently the pakled conflict (and moreover

) will still have pretty far-reaching consequences for the cerritos and starfleet more broadly

i didn't mind it so much because it's not unprecedented by any stretch but yeah, i also completely see/get where you're coming from
