It sucks that people can’t hold a talent-based job forever, it’s the nature of the beast and can be good for the company and talent.
That’s a pretty solid list you’ve got there. Oddly enough, of anyone that I think might be safe from it, it could be the guys like Akira Tozawa and Drake Maverick that add to that 24/7 mix. I don’t know why, but I can see Ricochet being safe too.
Keith Lee is the big screamer to me. They’ve tried a couple of times (in their mind), and I don’t think they got anything out of him. They didn’t even use him two weeks consecutively did they?
Elias not being drafted was a pretty big sign. And just because the company was high on you once doesn’t mean they’re going to stay that way. Can see him and Ryker being released, especially because they don’t seem to have any plans for them.
I’ve had a feeling that Kushida and MSK from NXT could be on the chopping block for a while. Unless they just use Kushida for Main Event/205 Live/the 24/7 division.
Because he apparently asked for another release, I can see them letting Gran Metalik go. Lince Dorado may or may not find himself attached to that. He seems “happier” to be there.
I have no clue how Dana Brooke has survived this long, to be honest.
I think the biggest “shocker” will be someone like Jeff Hardy or Sheamus. The first because he’s planning to leave anyway or they just don’t care if he does anymore. Sheamus just because of health issues and him maybe taking another role in the company.
Sad to say, but I don’t Asuka is safe either. Nor Shelton Benjamin. Not this time.
