I was thinking about Danielson. He’s fine. I love Regal, but Danielson wearing those colors, which he actually deviated from pretty early into his WWE run, was fine. I mean, Regal himself even moved away from the burgundy in 2002.

FTR I would consider cosplay. Punk is on the line. I can see it as an homage, but if someone thought it was bush league, I could understand that too. It’s a subjective thing in many cases. But I don’t think it is a good idea to remind people of bigger stars in many cases. People remember what they aren’t getting.
