Get where you're coming from, but I think the way they did it was the best route for the story they're telling imo. Not everyone knows about the friendship between Cole and the bucks. Debuting Cole first and giving that relationship time to breathe gives those fans the chance to experience that relationship, and will make the inevitable feud more meaningful. Likewise trickling in Fish and O'Reilly builds tension in the story, and adds hype & anticipation for the fans.
