So... misleading. But yes. Merch sales are important. That doesn’t mean Hook taking #1 temporary is particularly relevant. Hook is not in the conversation. Lol

Punk is also responsible for the biggest rating they’ve had (I think) since their debut. And that happened on the late Friday night B-show.
Of course Hook is not AEW's biggest star. I am also not saying Punk is not a draw at all, far from it, and yes he popped a rating, but that gain was gone within a month.

We clearly disagree on his importance/value to AEW overall. He is the is the central figure we have butted heads over the last 6 months, with a sprinkling of Tony Khan mixed in. It is what it is, an agree to disagree situation.
