Considering what all came out after the fact, Austin being in the hospital the night before, that it was going to close the show before that happened, and the way it incorporated their previous bouts, even though Austin lost, this is probably my 2nd favorite match of his (1st being the 13 match Supreme brought up, which funny enough Austin also lost).

If the Bret match was a 10/10, I think it is fair to rate his Mania 19 match as a 9.75/10.
Ok I’ve watched this. It is good. Better than I remember. Or maybe I just appreciate it more knowing that Austin was in the hospital the day before and it’s his last match. Hollywood Rock is the best Rock and I will hear nothing of it.

The crowd seems a little subdued at the start. They really heat up at the end with all the finisher spamming. It’s probably the 3rd best match on the card and the 2nd best of their Wrestlemania trilogy.
