You can make the argument that the belts should be on more important guys, but that doesn’t really help the guys or the belts. You don’t want to start a trend where big names start winning the US Title a month prior to WrestleMania just so the belt makes the card. You’ve also then got to get the belt off the guy and onto someone in the mid-card.
