It kind of baffles me how Tony would get into this rut.

In theory I LIKE that the size of AEW's roster allows them to cycle talents in and out to avoid people being possibly overexposed. Even with 2 TV shows a week, I don't need to see the same guys wrestling every week. Cycling people around every other week was done a lot in the early Dynamite days, you rarely ever saw someone wrestle 2 weeks in a row. I thought it was pretty effective and helped keep the shows feeling fresh.
For this reason, I also don't particularly care if they throw notable people on the YouTube shows on a week they aren't on TV. Right now you have a segment of the internet acting like it's an "LOL AEW" moment any time somebody higher on the pecking order than the Dark Order end up on Dark or Elevation, but those shows exists entirely for reps and stat-padding.
The bigger issue I have is the length of time people are being cycled. I feel like 6 hours of TV across 2 weeks should be enough time to feature everyone in a meaningful way. A group as cool as House of Black shouldn't be stuck in vignette hell as long as they have been.
