Agreed.

Both shows had the problem of making sex seem like this alien thing. The Fixers did that bit with rats. It just makes me feel like “sex” is supposed to be taboo. I like that the NWA features women who have a “fuck me” quality. They generally use sex better when they’re not hammering it home. But it’s just cheesy and alienating when they have Velvet touching herself talking about how hot sex is and The Fixers confused by it.

Sex shouldn’t be the punchline to a joke. Let the sexy folk be sexy as an undercurrent.
