But you are leaving out the truth as told by Punk himself, that he is SOOOOOOOOO good and Vince and FEDBAD never even gave him a chance! All these marquee matches you are talking about, Vince never even wanted Punk in them, evil Vince totally held him back!!!

Now though, bro Tony gives him the creative freedom to really show off his amazing wrestling character! With that freedom Punk TOTALLY overhauled his wrestling character, getting to do all the things he wants like having the same music and tshirt and moveset that WWE NEVER let him do, because again, FEDBAD DUBGOOD!!!!!!!
