They got Ogunleye, who was on a team with two shut-down corners, one of the best LB in the game, and the best DE in the game. He will be good, but will he be good playing opposite........................ who? Haynes?

And they got rid of all of their depth. They have no depth, they have no Bryan Robinson, they have no depth at corner, they have ONE safety, they have ONE linebacker, and a rookie DT who is looking "pretty good," but how would you reckon he is the next Kris Jenkins?

ANd Michael Haynes, next Peppers?

They don't even have the talent to be the "next Panthers." Panthers had two good WRs, the Bears have none. The Panthers had a prettttttty good line and an awesome HB. The Bears have an OK line and a guy who sucked on the Cardinals.

I don't know, I want to laugh, but I'm afraid that I'll end up eating my words and the Bears will somehow get a lucky season like 01.
Yeah, I see where you're going. I'm basing this pediction on a few things.

I predicted last year that Chicago would win @ Seattle and @ Green Bay (The posts are lurking somewhere on the old boards.) The Seattle game, they took the lead late in the game and then blew it. The Green Bay game they jumped out early 14-0 and then blew it. They just couldn't finish games. The way they were able to go in and not be intimidated and play like the favorite was impressive... It was a start atleast.

Defensively last year, they weren't special but they were't bad either. I think they have some decent players who are capable of having a good year. Offensively, I can see Justin Gage becoming a big play reciever. Also, I've been saying for weeks now that Thomas Jones will have a huge season.

But above all else... Lovie Smith is gonna be a GREAT head coach.
