The Undertaker vs. Ken Shamrock from Backlash ‘99 is an underrated match. It’s got no crowd heat and it’s against the backdrop of the terrible Ministry of Darkness story, but the match itself is actually pretty great.

Shamrock is working like a man possessed against the guy who has messed with his sister. JR is very clear on the call that Shamrock is going to have the advantage on the mat, but Taker is going to be stronger with a vertical base (Man, Taker would not go for that just a few years later when he wanted to be the MMA machine). It’s kind of refreshing to see a babyface take such a clear advantage in a match, and keep going back to that weakness he created.

One of the hidden gems on the Attitude era in terms of bell-to-bell stuff.
Tbf, the Ministry wasn't bad until it became the Corporate Ministry and it got nonsensical
