I do think the PPV schedule has something to do it and that Khan does think you can "just keep rolling" but I don't agree with that approach. I feel like when you only have 4 PPVs a year, there should be an incentive to keep things fresh.
They've done Eddie and Jericho at 2 PPVs now - once solo and once as part of a big team match. That's fine. But since then they've done another bigass team match on TV and now another singles match. And the latest match was a clusterfuck. Why would I want to see them wrestle
again on PPV? I've had my fill of this.
Plus AEW does at least one big Dynamite per month when there isn't a PPV. Do a blowoff there if you need to. You don't have to find ways to artificially stretch a story to the next PPV when you've told all you can with the story. At some point you gotta Mo Vaughn.
