I dunno, there is wriggle room there for people to play with. Of course they’re going to want to make as much money as possible, but there can be competing ideas on how that is best achieved.
Change isn’t guaranteed at all. But it isn’t impossible either. New merchandising deals can be struck up, trademarks brought back to monetize. In the context of content, they might decide to try and put on more urgent shows instead of sitting in a low gear to be evergreen. They might value using their history more to promote their present (for example, something as simple as showing Edge & Rey winning the Tag Titles to promote them facing Judgment Day, if that’s the plan).
The new regime might have the energy and desire to put some effort into putting their own stamp on things — at least for a while — even if they are largely likely to keep a steady hand with most things.
