The irony of this speaks for itself, but I’ll respond:

As Lock Jaw pointed out, I said it would help the wrestling business. And I believe it would. You would have some talented wrestlers free to go and work elsewhere, in a more relevant place where their work can count for more. You’d also have less trashy wrestling on television coloring people’s perspectives.

Would it be sad that some people would only be left taking jobs at Impact Wrestling? Sure, if you think that those people warranted a platform in a talent-based business in the first place. But this is the same soft-ball bullshit people used to say about TNA too. The talented people are going to find work elsewhere. You’d just lose the shit that hurts.
